Saksun
Visit to the picturesque village of Saksun, which is located at the end of a road leading. The bay was once a protected natural harbour, but today the entry to the bay has silted over. At low tide, you can walk on the sand out to the open sea.
Beinisvørð
Take the mountain road to Sumba then walk a few hundred metres west to reach the edge of the cliff and a spectacular panoramic view of the Beinisvørð headland to your left.
Kirkjubø
We recommend a walk over the mountain to the village Kirkjubøur. Visit Roykstovan which is approximately 900 years old and see the ruins of the St. Magnus Cathedral and St Ólav’s church, dating from 1111
