16th Nordic Teacher Education Conference
The Faculty of Education at the University of The Faroe Islands looks forward to seeing you at the 16th Nordic Teacher Education Conference in Tórshavn to be held between May 12-14, 2020.
During the conference, plenary sessions will be held with keynote speakers from the Nordic countries within the main theme, which is: “Innovation in Teaching and Learning”. Several parallel sessions will also be conducted within this theme.
The parallel sessions will held by the conference participants who represent research from educational institutions in the Nordic countries.
If you wish to bring a poster, make a presentation or conduct a workshop during the conference, it should be indicated during registration.
The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, February 14, 2020.
The main language of the conference is Scandinavian, but presentations in English are welcome.
The abstract can be submitted before, while or after you sign up for the conference. All abstracts will be processed and approved as we receive them. You will receive a confirmation when your abstract is approved.
Since 1991, the Nordic Teacher Education Conference has been held every second year in one of the following Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, The Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
The main purpose of the conference is to create and maintain networks and to share and disseminate knowledge engendered by research, experience and praxis on topics relevant to the field of teacher education.
