Conference 2019 -”Developing Dialogue”
Hotel Føroyar, Tórshavn, Faroe Islands September 19th – 21th 2019 

We invite you to submit your research, education and practice papers. Abstracts are being invited under the main theme of ´Developing Dialogue´. These may be associated with one of the following sub-themes.

Second call for abstract is from February 1st to June 30th 2019

1. Physical health in mental health
2. Education
3. Multidisciplinary approaches
4. User and family involvement
5. Stigma
6. Harming and self-harming behavior

Abstracts may be in the form of a:
Oral presentation / Concurrent sessions – 15- 20 minutes in length
Workshop – 1 hour in length
Poster – on the festival theme, topical developments, research and/or issues of wider interest.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have chosen to present you will be expected to register for the Conference.
Being a Nordic Conference it has been decided to have both English and Nordic language as presenting languages for concurrent sessions and workshop. Therefore, we would like to encourage you to use this opportunity and send in your abstract. Please inform us, if your presentation will be in English, Nordic or maybe in both languages. If you would like to present in both languages, be aware you will have two presentations.

Each abstract submission must include the following details: 

  • Abstract submission deadline is – Extended until June 30, 2019.

Three learning outcomes
Three reading references

--Type of presentation requested (concurrent/ workshop/poster) no more than 300 words
--Submission for research abstracts must contain: Background, aim, method, results, discussion.
--Submission for practice/development abstracts must contain: Background/context, purpose for development, phases of development, results, discussion.
