How to get to the Faroe Islands and the Horatio Congress

Although the Faroe Islands are located in the middle of the North Atlantic, we have excellent connections to Denmark, Scandinavia and Europe. Fly with the local airline Atlantic Airways or arrive with Scandinavian SAS.

 Atlantic Airways offers direct flights to the Faroe Islands from following destinations:

  • Copenhagen - 3 daily flights in the summer and 2 daily flights in the winter.
  • Billund - 6 weekly departures in the summer and 2 weekly departures in the winter.
  • Aalborg - 2 weekly departures in the summer and via Copenhagen in the winter.
  • Bergen, Norway - 4 weekly departures in the summer and 3 weekly departures in the winter.
  • Reykjavík / Keflavík (Iceland) - 3 weekly departures in the summer and 2 weekly departures in the winter.
  • Edinburgh (Scotland) -  2 weekly departures in the summer and in the winter.
  • Barcelona (Spain) - 1 weekly departure in the summer.
  • Palma de Mallorca (Spain) - 1 weekly departure in the summer.
  • Malta - 1 weekly departure in the summer.
  • Lisbon (Portugal) - 1 weekly departure in the summer.

 

SAS offers direct flights to the Faroe Islands from:

  • Copenhagen - 1 daily departure throughout the year.

 

Please note: We have pre-booked hotels in different categories and flights from/to Copenhagen and can offer special prices. The cheapest package combination of flight and accommodation is DKK 3.720, and the most expensive combination DKK 7.510.
