Knitting Festival 

The knitting festival will be held in the town of Fuglafjørður on the island of Eysturoy. The entire town will be involved and transformed into one huge knitting club during the three days and there will be workshops in private living rooms, knitting in local cafes and cosy friendship on the agenda. You will have a unique opportunity to gain insight into the Faroese knitting culture, whilst at the same time being able to enjoy the wonderful Faroese nature.

Itinerary: Individual tour 

Day 1: Arrival to the Faroe Islands and the village Fuglafjørður. 
Arrival from Copenhagen with Atlantic Airways to Vágar Airport in the Faroe Islands. Flight time is approx. 2 hours. 
Upon arrival in the town of Fuglafjørður check-in at the accommodation. Use the rest of the day to get to know the town and register for the festival.

Day 2, 3, 4: Knitting festival in the town of Fuglafjørður. Be a part of the knitting community. Learn from others and let others learn from you
Three days of creativity, colours, patterns, companionship, designated knitting cafés and lectures with Faroese and international guest speakers, boutique stalls, walking tours and much more.

The festival starts each day at 9/10 am and ends at 6 pm, however the knitting cafes and boutique stalls will continue until 10/11 pm.

Each workshop is 3 hours. Lunch is included in the festival bracelet.

• From early January, you will be able to decide which three workshops you would like to attend. We will assist.
• Remember that it is possible to purchase more workshops.
   

Day 5:  Departure from the Faroe Islands.
Departure from the Faroe Islands with Atlantic Airways to Copenhagen. 

Add-on 2 extra nights in Tórshavn and 1 x excursion
