THURSDAY: Arrival to the Faroe Islands - Welcome.
Arrival with Atlantic Airways. Transport from airport to overnight accommodations in Tórshavn.
Check-in at your accommodation in Tórshavn.
FRIDAY: EXCURSION Highlights of the North
We begin our adventure on the wonderful island of Borðoy, where we explore Klaksvík, the heart of the fishing industry in the Faroe Islands. You will visit the remote village of Kunoy and drive north to the picturesque Viðareiði. On the way back to Tórshavn, we drive through the fascinating underwater tunnel where Tróndur Patursson has decorated the roundabout.
SATURDAY: Day on your own. Additional excursions can be purchased, for example:
Day trip to the island of Mykines including hiking tour. Enjoy a magnificent boat trip along the majestic cliffs. See the impressive gannets that only breed on Mykinesholm and the charming puffins with the colourful beaks.

Day tour to the island of Nólsoy . The island offers various unique sites and experiences in the village, an excursion to one of the world’s largest storm petrel colonies on the east side, or just a quiet stroll among colorful houses, enchanting locals and a charming harbour.

SUNDAY: EXCURSION to Vestmanna bird cliffs
Day trip to the Majestic Vestmanna Mountains and the historic Viking settlements of Kvívík. The day starts with an exciting boat trip to Vestmanna Sea cliffs, where we explore the dramatic cliffs and some of the hidden caves. On the way back to Tórshavn we visit the Viking settlements in the beautiful settlement of Kvívík and make several photo stops on our way.
MONDAY: EXCURSION to the highlights of Streymoy and Eysturoy
We drive to the idyllic village of Saksun, which lies picturesquely bound in a small fjord with high mountains on both sides. Continue on to the village of Tjørnuvík, on route we stop at the waterfall Fossá. From Tjørnuvík you can see the impressive rock formations the Giant and the Witch.
Before reaching Gjógv we will have a view of the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands, Slættaratindur (882 m). In Gjógv we see the natural harbour which the village is named after.
TUESDAY: EXCURSION Saga Island of Sandoy and cultural centre of Kirkjubøur.
Day trip to the historic island of Sandoy, one of the most unspoiled islands where you can still experience the old, Faroese way of life.
We drive from Tórshavn over the mountain to the ferry harbor Gamlarætt, where you will drive through the new subsea tunnel. The guide entertains with sagas from the island. Experience a church visit, fantastic viewpoints and small villages.
Before returning to Tórshavn, we visit Kirkjubøur, which is the Faroe Islands’ historical and cultural center. See the unfinished Magnus Cathedral and the small medieval church of St. Olav.
WEDNESDAY: Day on your own. Additional excursions can be purchased, for example:
The island of Vágar. First stop will be in the picturesque village of Bøur to enjoy the best view of Tindhólmur and the freestanding rocks, Drangarnir. Continue to Gásadalur where you will walk to most photographed waterfall in the Faroes, Múlafossur. On route we pass the, ”Lake above the ocean”
