SUNDAY: Arrival to the Faroe Islands.
Arrivel with with Atlantic Airways. The rest of the day is on your own. Dinner is included.
Spend the night on Vágar.
MONDAY: The unique bird Island - Mykines.
By boat from the harbour in Sørvágur to the island of Mykines. The trip starts with a fantastic sailing tour alongside the majestic cliff face.
Mykines is home to thousands of migrating birds and you will have the opportunity to get a close look at them.
On arrival at the island, you will check in to the local B&B. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. A picnic lunch and dinner is included.

TUESDAY: Fantastic nature - see puffins and the impressive gannets.
Guided walk to Mykineshólmur. Spot the charming puffins with their colourful beaks and the impressive gannets, which only breed on the isolated isle to the west of the main island. To reach the isle, you must cross a bridge, in fact a bridge that crosses the North Atlantic Ocean!
The free- standing rock formations that surround the lighthouse at the edge of the cliff are breathtakingly beautiful. A picnic lunch and dinner is included.
Spend the night on Mykines.
WEDNESDAY: The Viking island Skúvoy is full of stories - Enjoy the tranquility and nature.
In the morning, you will return to Sørvágur. From here, the tour continues with local busses and ferries via the island of Sandoy to Skúvoy, where the Viking Chieftain Sigmundur Brestisson built the first Christian church and lies buried.
On arrival, there is coffee/tea and cake in a private home and your host will be happy to suggest some walking tours that you can manage on your own. Dinner is included on Skúvoy.
Spend the night on Skúvoy.
THURSDAY: Saga island Sandoy, small village communities and storytelling.
Take the ferry from Skúvoy and return to Sandoy also called the Saga Island. You will be met on arrival by a local driver/guide who will take you sightseeing around the island.
It has been inhabited since the Viking Ages. Amongst other things, you will visit the villages of Sandur, Dalur and Húsavík as you hear about the dramatic sagas and history of the island.
The tour ends in Skálavík where you will stay overnight. There is an outdoor hot tub if you would like to relax after the day’s adventures. A picnic lunch and dinner are included.
Spend the night on Sandoy.
FRIDAY: On Nólsoy life moves at a slow pace, meet the locals, visit Maggie's Cafe and walk to the top of the island.
Return to Tórshavn by bus and ferry after lunch. From here, you take the ferry to Nólsoy and walk the short distance to the tourist information to find out where you will stay overnight.
We suggest you walk up to the top of the island where you have the most wonderful panoramic views of Tórshavn and the neighbouring islands. Lunch is included.
Spend the night on Nólsoy.
SATURDAY: Guided walk in Nólsoy and explore the charming capital, Tórshavn.
Walk through the village Nólsoy with the local guide and see ‘Row Ove’s’ boat the Diana Victoria, it was in 1986 that he decided to row single-handed to the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen in order to give her a kiss! Lunch is included.
Return to Tórshavn by ferry for a day of exploring on your own. We suggest visiting the Art Gallery, the National Museum, the Nordic House and the old part of town called Tinganes and Reyn.
It is also possible to hike over the mountain and back to the ancient cultural centre of Kirkjubøur.
Spend the night in Tórshavn.
SUNDAY: Departure from the Faroe Islands.
Transfer to the airport and departure with Atlantic Airways.
