Heimablídni – Traditional Faroese Home Dining Experience
Heimablídni, meaning “home hospitality,” is a local tradition where Faroese hosts open their homes to welcome guests for a homemade meal in an intimate and personal setting.
During the evening, you will enjoy a traditional Faroese dinner prepared with local ingredients. The menu varies depending on the host and the season, but often includes local specialties such as lamb, fish, fermented delicacies, seasonal vegetables and homemade desserts.
