Mykines with guide
Day trip to Mykines also known as the bird paradise due to the rich variety of birds on the island.
Departure is from the harbour in Sørvágur, where the guest will board the ferry to Mykines. Upon arrival in Mykines, the friendly tour guide will greet you at the harbour and take you on a guided tour to the best sights on the island.
Discover the unique beauty of Mykines Island on a guided day through one of the Faroe Islands' most remarkable landscapes. Enjoy an approximately 3-hour hike through dramatic landscapes, where you'll discover the island's rich birdlife and visit its famous puffin colony, offering excellent opportunities to observe seabirds in their natural habitat. After the hike, return to the village to enjoy homemade soup before setting out on a leisurely stroll through the historic settlement, learning about its unique culture, heritage, and way of life.

- In the event the tour is cancelled, it is sometimes possible to move the tour to another day. If that is not possible the amount will be refunded minus administration fee DKK 400 per person
- Ferry crossing to Mykines is weather permitting and can be cancelled due to bad weather.
- Important to be properly dressed - remember the weather is changeable.
- Sailing time is approx. 45 minutes each way.
- Difficulty: Medium in uneven terrain. One should not suffer from vertigo.
