Welcome to the Faroe Islands

Arrival with Atlantic Airways, followed by a beautiful transfer to Tórshavn.

Check in at your accommodation and have the rest of the day at your leisure to relax or explore the surroundings.

Day 1

Kallur Lighthouse

Exploring Eysturoy, Borðoy, Kalsoy and Viðoy. Travel in comfort as your local guide highlights stunning viewpoints along the way.

Sail to Kalsoy and visit Trøllanes, Mikladalur, Húsar and Syðradalur. In Trøllanes, you can choose an optional guided hike to Kallur Lighthouse and the James Bond Memorial.

The tour also includes a visit to Seal Woman in Mikladalur.

Vágar and the Slave Cliff.

Our first stop is in the small village of Gásadalur, home to one of the most photographed landmarks in the Faroe Islands. The stunning waterfall Múlafossur, where a river plunges directly from the cliffs into the Atlantic Ocean below.

Afterward we hike the shores of Leitisvatn, the largest lake in the Faroe Islands, before reaching the spectacular viewpoint at Trælanípan, also known as the Slave Cliff.

Nearby, you’ll also see Geituskoradrangur, a dramatic sea stack standing alone in the ocean below the cliffs.

Walking exploration in the old city quarter in Tórshavn, Tinganes and Reyn with its small alleys and charming houses with grass roofs. The local guide will tell stories about the past and present

Vestmanna sea cliffs

The day starts with an exciting boat trip to Vestmanna Sea cliffs, where we explore the dramatic cliffs and some of the hidden caves.

After the boat tour, we make a stop at the coastal village Leynar. Known for one of the few white sandy beaches in the Faroe Islands. Enjoy the beautiful views across the ocean toward Vágar, Koltur, and Kvívík.

We also visit the historic village of Kvívík, believed to be one of the earliest Viking settlements in the Faroe Islands. See the excavated remains of Viking longhouses that date back more than 1,000 years. Enjoy several photo stops on our way.

Monday - Excursion included

The highlights of Streymoy and Eysturoy


We drive to the idyllic village of Saksun, which lies picturesquely bound in a small fjord with high mountains on both sides.

Continue on to the village of Tjørnuvík, on route we stop at the waterfall Fossá. From Tjørnuvík you can see the impressive rock formations the Giant and the Witch.

Before reaching Gjógv we will have a view of the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands, Slættaratindur (882 m). In Gjógv we see the natural harbour which the village is named after.

Northern Highlights

This adventure takes you through the spectacular Northern Islands. Our first stop is Klaksvík,the second-largest town in the Faroe Islands and the heart of the country's fishing industry.

From there, we continue to the peaceful village of Kunoy, surrounded by dramatic peaks and some of the most striking scenery inthe Northern Islands. The journey then takes us north to the village of Viðareiði, the northernmost settlement in the Faroe Islands.

Day 6

Wednesday - Excursion included

Sagas of Sandoy

The day begins in Kirkjubøur, which is the historical and cultural center in the Faroe Islands. See the unfinished Magnus Cathedral and the small medieval church of St. Olav.

Next, we drive through the subsea tunnel, where modern cave paintings by artist Edward Fuglø light up the walls. An underground gallery inspired by Faroese folklore.

On Sandoy, you can still experience the old way of life. We explore a mix of charming villages, wide sandy beaches and archaeological treasures. The guide entertains with sagas from the island.

Thursday

Departure from the Faroe Islands

Transfer from your accommodation to Vágar Airport. Enjoy a comfortable ride while taking in the final views of the Faroe Islands. Depart with Atlantic Airways, carrying home lasting memories of the stunning landscapes and unique experiences. We wish you a pleasant journey and hope to see you again.
