Arrival to the Faroe Islands. After checking into your accommodation, take a walk around Tórshavn. As you wander through the houses in the old town, you will discover a web of lanes and passageways, stairs, protruding rocks and tiny black-tarred houses with white windows and grass roofs. This old town is unique, not only in the Faroe Islands, but in the whole world. Please respect the privacy of the people living in these historical houses

At the end of the day, drop into one of the cafés or bars where you will find the locals relaxing.

Explore the islands - Day on your own.
We suggest the popular excursion to the Vestmanna Sea Cliffs. With bus and guide from Tórshavn via the mountain road to the village of Vestmanna, from here the boat sails out to the cliffs, and if weather permits into and through several sea caves – a fabulous experience.

En route back to Tórshavn, we make a stop at an old Viking farmstead in the beautiful and quaint village of Kvívík.

The day of the Marathon.
‍The marathon course is commencing from the center of Tórshavn, continuing around the city along the seaside, on nicely paved roads and through peaceful city spaces. There is no traffic on route - overall a great nature experience.
