From the ferry port in Sørvágur you enjoy a magnificent boat trip along the majestic cliffs. Upon arrival, the first stop is the village café for a short break and the chance to buy refreshments.The hike starts by heading uphill to the monument established for those who passed away at sea. On the tour you will experience the largest puffin colony in the Faroe Islands. At this point of the journey you are likely to get the chance to see the breeding pairs of puffins up-close.

Please read the following terms before booking: - If the Mykines ferry is cancelled due to rough seas, which occurs occasionally, we will hold back DKK 1000, - per person if the cancellation is announced before the tour begins. If the ferry cancels after the tour has commenced refund is not possible and we will arrange an alternative tour to compensate for the sudden change. An alternative tour will always be arranged if the ferry cancels.
Booking with us requires that our customers are prepared to accept these conditions and remain adaptable as we will not be able to refund customers in such instances. Furthermore, under certain circumstances, local authorities may restrict access to the puffin colony as a conservation measure. In these instances, your guide will be ready to modify the itinerary as necessary. We expect participants to be flexible to ensure that effective workarounds can be implemented.
- The availability of the tour is contingent upon securing ferry tickets to Mykines. If the ferry is fully booked, we cannot complete the tour and you will receive a full refund.
- *Please note pick up times might change depending on availability in the boat.
- Ferry crossing to Mykines is weather permitting and can be cancelled due to bad weather.
- Important to be properly dressed - remember the weather is changeable.
- Sailing time is approx. 45 minutes one way.
- Difficulty: Medium in uneven terrain. One should not suffer from vertigo.
